  • Six Layers of the Psychological Mindset: These layers encompass different psychological factors that impact your mindset.

  • Self

    • The true, untarnished you (referred to as your soul or spirit).

    • Free from societal influences and expectations.

    • Ego

      • A barrier that separates the self from others.

      • Can be healthy or unhealthy but is essential for differentiation.

    • Identity

      • Who you believe you are.

      • It determines your behavior, often aligned with societal expectations if not strongly defined.

    • Beliefs

      • Your perception of reality.

      • Often developed by age 11-13 and can be outdated.

    • Stories

      • Narratives we create about our lives.

      • Mostly fictional and can either empower or hinder us.

    • Values

      • Core principles that guide decision-making.

      • Need to be regularly evaluated and aligned with actions.

Environment:

  • Although complex to fully align, it influences and impacts all six psychological layers.

  • Individuals less aware of these layers are more susceptible to environmental influences.

  • Identifying and aligning these six layers with your goals make your mindset powerful.

  • Continual work and self-reflection on these layers can lead to a transformative mindset.
